BOOK FAIR ( 2024-25) 29,30 & 1^ST MAY 2024

A Book Fair was organised by Agrasen DAV Public School, Bharech Nagar by Scholastics Publications, New Delhi. The Book Fair was inaugurated by honourable Shri Nisikanta Kar, Principal cum ARO, Jharkhand Zone F ( Independent Charge) followed by his wonderful speech for the students to infuse the zeal of reading different books and to enhance their competencies and skills. There were more than 25,00 books brought by scholastic publications for the perusal of the students. Famous Novels like " Wings of Fire" by A. P. J. Abdul Kalam ; " Goosebumps " by R. L. Stine; " Jane Ayre " by Charlotte Bronte; " Tom Sawyer " by Mark Twain; " The Time Machine " by H. G. Wells; Books on Origami; Mental Maths; Dictionary and Grammar Books; Fine Arts; Puzzles etc were also available for purchase. The students were taken class wise to browse through the books. Moreover, they can come along with their parents from 4 pm to 6 pm in the evening to purchase the books. The air was filled with the scent of freshly printed books, and the lighting was bright yet cozy. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as book lovers of all ages roamed around, browsing through the books. The organizers had done a great job of creating a comfortable and inviting space that was perfect for exploring books.On the whole the Book fair was a grand success and it gave a positive hope to enhance the reading techniques and interest among the students.
