International Day of Yoga

Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice symbolizing the union of body and consciousness. This year marks the 10th International Day of Yoga with the theme 'YOGA FOR SELF AND SOCIETY '. Agrasen D.A.V Public School Bharechnagar celebrated the day. All the students, teachers and staff were taught the importance of yoga in their life and how to maintain harmony between body and mind. Many activities like Painting Competition, Quiz, Essay Writing Competition and a workshop on Importance of Yoga were organised.
