The Annual Function of Agrasen D.A.V. Public School, Bharechnagar, was celebrated with grandeur and enthusiasm on 26th December 2024. The theme of the function, ‘Unnayan,’ symbolized progress and growth, which was beautifully reflected in the event's organization and participation.

 

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri Bijay Kumar, Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Hazaribag. The Guest of Honour was Shri Chandan Kumar, DSP, Ramgarh. Other distinguished dignitaries included Shri N.K. Iyengar, Vice Chairman, Agrasen D.A.V. Public School, Shri Manoj Kumar Mishra, Ex-Principal of our school, Shri R.K. Rai, Ex-Principal, D.A.V Public School, ARA and Ex-Manager of our School, Honourable AROs of different Zones, Principals of various institutions, members of the media, well-wishers, and parents.

The event commenced with the inaugural ceremony, which included the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a warm welcome extended by the Principal, Shri Nisikanta Kar. The Chief Guest, Shri Bijay Kumar, inaugurated the newly constructed boundary wall of the school, marking a significant milestone in the institution's development.

 

The cultural programmes captivated the audience with their vibrant performances. The students showcased a variety of performances, including traditional and contemporary dances, skits, and musical renditions, all aligned with the theme of ‘Unnayan.’

 

A Felicitation Ceremony was held to honour the achievements of the students. Those who scored 90% and above in academics were recognized for their hard work and excellence. Additionally, students with extraordinary achievements in co-curricular and extracurricular fields were also felicitated.

 

The event was graced by the encouraging words of the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour, who applauded the efforts of the school in fostering holistic development among students. They commended the teachers, students, and staff for their dedication and the meticulous organization of the programme.

 

The Annual Function concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, parents, and well-wishers for their presence and support. The event was a grand success, leaving everyone inspired and filled with a sense of pride for being part of the Agrasen D.A.V. family.
