Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness at Agrasen D.A.V. Public School, Bharechnagar, in both the Junior and Senior Wings.The occasion highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living.

 

In the Junior Building, the little ones of Class LKG, UKG,One and two presented action song,dances, and rhymes, reflecting their understanding and love for Mother Earth. The  teachers shared insightful facts and ideas on protecting the planet. The Academic Incharge, Mrs. P. Biswas, addressed the gathering with a motivating talk on “Saving Earth” and also presented a melodious song, which was appreciated by all.

 

The entire event in the Junior Building was anchored gracefully by Mrs. Bhupinder Kaur. All teachers participated actively and The students of Class one presented an impactful skit on waste management, emphasizing the segregation of garbage into wet and dry bins. A heartwarming action dance on Saving Earth  was performed beautifully by the students of LKGandUKG. The Students of Class Two performed a beautiful Role Play .  Theteachers.of EEDP also contributed significantly to the success of the celebration.

 

In the Senior Building, the event was conducted with equal zeal. Hon’ble Principal Shri Nisikanta Kar addressed the students and staff, highlighting the importance of preserving water and protecting the environment to ensure a sustainable future. Mrs.Mousumi Banerjee, Academic Head, also spoke   eloquently about the importance of saving the Earth and preserving its natural resources. She inspired the teachers to initiate similar activities in the future to foster environment awareness among the students. Mr. Shiv Kumar delivered a thoughtful speech on the need for environmental responsibility.The programme was organised by Science and Social Science teachers.

 

Students enthusiastically participated by expressing their views through speeches and poems and creating vibrant posters on the theme “Save Earth.” The celebration concluded on a high note, leaving behind a strong message of ecological awareness and responsibility.
