The Sanskrit Saptah Samapan Samaroh was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Agrasen D.A.V. Public School, Bharechnagar. The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Chandrakant Shukla, Former Kulpati, Darbhanga Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Darbhanga, and recipient of the Rashtrapati Puraskar, as the Chief Guest. Another distinguished guest was Dr. Sunil Kumar Kashyap, Pradesh Vidyalaya Prabhari, Sanskrit Bharati, Jharkhand.
The programme commenced with Vedic Mantra Ucharan, followed by Swagat Geet, Deep Prajvalan, captivating dances, and an enlightening demonstration on the application of Vedic Mathematics using Sanskrit shlokas. A Sanskrit exhibition was also organised, where students displayed various sutras and shlokas, highlighting the depth and richness of the language.
Honourable Principal Shri Nisikanta Kar inspired the students by emphasising the timeless importance of Sanskrit. Mr. Sudhir Mishra, One of the Senior most teachers encouraged the learners to develop an interest in the language, while Academic Head Mrs. Mousumi Banerjee highlighted its close connection with science, art, music, culture, and even computer technology.
The event was ably organised by Mr. Parikshit Behera, anchored by ShriLabda, and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Acharya Dharmendra Kumar Gautam. The entire celebration reflected the cultural heritage and scholarly essence of Sanskrit, leaving an indelible mark on all present.
