Agrasen D.A.V. Public School, Bharechnagar, proudly organized D.A.V. Sports 2025 over a span of two days with the featured events being Karate and Wushu. The grand sporting occasion witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 800 students from different schools, making it a vibrant celebration of talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The programme commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge and wisdom. The Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony was Shri Chandan Vatsa, J.P.S., Senior DSP, Ramgarh, whose presence added great dignity to the occasion.The Chief Guest of the Valedictory Function was Shri N.K Iyengar, Vice Chairman, Agrasen D.A.V Public School who isone of the eminent pillars of the school.

Among the distinguished guests, the first to be acknowledged was Dr. Gulam Nabi Khan, Principal-cum-A.R.O., Zone I, and Shri Vipin Rai, Principal-cum-A.R.O., Zone G, D.A.V. Hehal, Ranchi. Their gracious presence lent immense inspiration to the gathering. Other eminent dignitaries included Shri M.K. Mishra, Ex-Principal, Agrasen D.A.V.Public School, Smt. Kiran Yadav, Principal, D.A.V PublicSchoolKanke,Shri Alok Kumar, Principal, D.A.V.Ara, Shri Tarakeshwar, Principal, D.A.V.,Chainpur and Shri P. Singh, Ex-Principal, D.A.V. The programme was observed by Mr. R.K. Sinha, Principal, D.A.V. Public School, Topa, and Shri K.K. Singh, Principal, D.A.V. Public School, Koderma.

In his address, the Principal of Agrasen D.A.V. Bharechnagar encouraged the students by highlighting the invaluable role of games and sports in shaping strong, confident, and disciplined individuals. He emphasized that participation in games not only nurtures physical fitness but also strengthens the mind.

The Chief Guest, Shri Chandan Vatsa, delivered an inspiring message to the participants.
