Report on Awareness and Sensitization Activities

Agrasen DAV Public School took several meaningful initiatives under the 'Nasha Mukt Yuva ' for Vikshit Bharat Abhiyan to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.

As part of the campaign, an awareness video on 'Nasha Mukt Yuva 'was prepared and shown to the students of Classes VI to XII. A special morning assembly was organized on the theme of the Nasha Mukti Bharat Campaign, featuring a meaningful dance presentation, an inspiring speech by Shrishti Kumari of Class X-A, and a poem recitation by a student.

To spread the message beyond the classroom, a Prabhat Pheri was organized with students raising meaningful slogans on Nasha Mukti. The school also conducted Slogan Writing and Poster Making Competitions, providing students with creative platforms to express their commitment towards a drug-free society. ‘No Tobacco’ signage was also displayed in the school premises as a preventive and awareness measure.

The Principal,Shri G. P. Jha, motivated the students during the morning assembly to stay away from all forms of addiction and lead a healthy, peaceful and purposeful life. He encouraged them to follow a nutritious diet and make yoga, exercise and positive thinking an integral part of their daily lives.

The entire campaign was carried out with active participation and enthusiasm from the students and staff. Through awareness programmes, creative activities, community outreach and preventive measures, Agrasen DAV Public School reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing responsible, healthy and socially conscious young citizens.
